Draft for legal review — not a substitute for advice from an Australian privacy lawyer.
Privacy policy
Last updated for this website draft. ABN 81 480 225 391.
Who we are
Roma Cleaners (ABN 81 480 225 391) provides house, deep and end of lease cleaning around Roma, Queensland.Business address: 5 Powell Street, Roma QLD 4455. Contact: [email protected] or 1300 381 988.
What this policy covers
This page explains how we handle personal information collected through this website, mainly the quote form, phone and email enquiries. It is written with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) in mind. We are a small business; some Privacy Act rules depend on turnover and activities. This draft still describes the practices we intend to follow.
Information we collect
When you send a quote request we collect:
- name, mobile number and email address
- town, service type, bedrooms, bathrooms, frequency and preferred date
- any notes you type (access, pets, agent lists)
- whether you agreed to this privacy policy
- whether you separately opted in to marketing (unchecked by default)
A hidden honeypot field is used only to ignore automated spam. We also see standard server logs such as IP address and time, used for security and basic rate limiting.
How we use it
- to reply with a quote or to ask a follow-up question about the job
- to schedule work you later accept
- to keep a record of what was requested
- to send service updates only if you ticked marketing consent
We do not sell personal information. Quote replies and job-related messages are not marketing. Marketing is optional and stays off unless you tick the second box (Spam Act 2003 (Cth)).
How enquiries are delivered
Quote forms on this website are processed through KookaburraOS, the business operations system used by Roma Cleaners. Every page loads their public website SDK (https://app.kookaburraos.com/sdk/v2/kooka-unified.js) with a public client-side site key. When you send a quote request, KookaburraOS receives your name, mobile, email, town, service, home size, frequency, preferred date, notes and consent answers, plus the page URL and any advertising attribution already on that page (for example UTM parameters). We do not email the form to ourselves.
If the SDK does not load or the submission fails, the site asks you to call 1300 381 988 or email [email protected]. On this computer’s local preview, the form is not sent to KookaburraOS so test data does not create a live lead. Keep a copy of anything sensitive for your own records.
Analytics
No Google Analytics or Tag Manager container is configured at the moment, so those tags are not loaded. If the owner later adds a measurement ID in the site config, this policy should be updated and the tags will start sending page views plus tap-to-call and form-success events.
Storage and security
Live submissions are stored in KookaburraOS so the Roma team can quote and schedule work. KookaburraOS is operated by that provider; their systems may be hosted outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to limit access to people who need it for that work. No website is perfectly secure.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or make a privacy complaint by emailing [email protected]. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Children
This site is for adults arranging cleaning. Do not submit a child’s personal information on the form.
